A better grade shoe should provide you with all day comfort and satisfactory wear. Lot’s of less expensive shoes being built today are using man made uppers, we think they are a waste of your money. It’s great when our shoes wear a long time, just as long as they are comfortable. Leather is by far the best material to use in shoe construction. For the best value in shoes, always buy better grade footwear.
For women, dress shoe styles change so often, don’t spend a lot of money on a one season dress shoe. Men and women should buy basic colors in their footwear. Basic colors can be worn the year round, white for example, is not worn in the winter months.

I found the dyeable pattern I was looking for at Shoebuy.com. They dyed them for me and it worked out just fine. Leave yourself enough time to get all this done.
